PortScan-SuperScan” is Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) detection. It is not a virus or Trojan.

PortScan-SuperScan” is scanning software designed to detect open TCP and UDP ports on a target computer, determine which services are running on those ports and run queries. Super scan is a popular windows port scanning tool.

Port scan is mainly used for the following:

  • To perform ping scans and port scans using any IP range.
  • To scan any port range from a built-in list or any given range.
  • To save the scan list to a text file.
  • User friendly interface.


   

All Users:
Use current engine and DAT files for detection and removal.

Modifications made to the system Registry and/or INI files for the purposes of hooking system startup, will be successfully removed if cleaning with the recommended engine and DAT combination (or higher).
